As a Chemical Laboratory Technician or CTA (m/f/d), you contribute your expertise to ensure our quality control remains at the highest level. Whether conducting product and batch testing, preparing and documenting quality-relevant documents, or overseeing our analytical instruments – your work directly influences the quality of our medicines for patients worldwide.


Your responsibilities include

  • Performing product and batch testing within the scope of quality control, including sample preparation, analysis, evaluation, and assessment of results in compliance with current GMP guidelines
  • Documentation of all test results in accordance with GMP requirements in electronic systems and/or in paper form, including follow-up, archiving, and ensuring data integrity
  • Participation in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of quality-relevant documents such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), test specifications, work instructions, as well as validation and qualification documents – both in German and English
  • Acting as person responsible for reference substances, including management, qualification, documentation, and monitoring of proper handling in accordance with GMP guidelines
  • Responsibility as person in charge for analytical instruments undergoing qualification; this includes the coordination and documentation of qualification measures, liaison with internal departments, and ensuring GMP-compliant use
  • Support with organizational and administrative tasks in the laboratory, such as coordination of workflows, supervision of test equipment, performing calibrations, as well as assisting with internal audits and authority inspections
  • Active contribution to continuous improvement processes by providing suggestions to increase efficiency, process safety, and quality improvement


Your profile

  • Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, CTA, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry desirable
  • Experience in relevant analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Independent and precise working style as well as methodical thinking and creativity
  • Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
